You know, the Auntie who's been living in public housing on the U.S. taxpayers' dollar, even though she's an illegal immigrant? She's facing deportation hearings soon. Obama still doesn't seem to want anything to do with her. (http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/articles/2009/03/24/back_in_boston_obamas_aunt_fighting_deportation/)

What do you guys think? She's a relative of the President. She's been living in Boston for ages.

And that's exactly why she should be kicked out.

Other countries don't give their illegals welfare. I'm not eligible for welfare here and I'm the wife of a citizen. I was denied "residency" because we haven't been married long enough and, therefore, denied healthcare and any other public service citizens get. But in the U.S., it's apparently so easy that we give even illegals a free pass. Hell, I wish Brad could just come over illegally and we could live in public housing for free!

Anyway, yeah, I think that she should have to go back to Kenya. And I'd also really appreciate if someone could tell me why, when it was known that she was illegal 6 months ago, she continues to receive government services. In New Zealand, they just cut you off if you've, for some reason, received a service you weren't meant to. Not only that, they demand you pay it back.

We need immigration law reform now. We need to make it easier for family members of citizens and skilled or unskilled workers, as needed, to immigrate, and harder for deadbeats to stay.

She should have to go through the same immigration process as anyone else. If she's not eligible, deport her.

Family members other than spouses and children are given a number and wait in line for a "space" to open up so they can get a green card. Had she immigrated legally, she could have been given a number as she's related to a citizen, and could have waited. It really isn't fair to give her a spot when other people's families did it the legal way and are still waiting in line.
