White-Only "Mini State" planned for Rangiora

White supremacists plan a mini-state in Rangiora. (http://www.stuff.co.nz/4825860a11.html) The news article is unclear as to who would be white enough to live there--just New Zealanders of European descent or all people of European descent, or how the white supremacists intend to enforce the race rules.

However, the article notes that the colony will have the following advantages:

* Keeping "our children away from the multicultural brainwashing of current system schools."

* "Encouraging, supportive and friendly interaction with like-minded people."

* "Ability to put our European skills and intelligence to create new technologies and build something to be proud of."

* "Safety in numbers."

The state will include:

* Training areas for "sport fighting".

* A "protected community".

* A "meeting house for gatherings of leaders and active nationalists".

* A "social bar for fundraising and building unity".

* A large vegetable garden.

A white-only veggie garden. Now I've heard everything.

Thoughts?

because if he had "a darker shade of skin" as you say, you would have looked at the picture and thought, wow he looks scary.

I would also place money on the fact that he's not a Krav Maga expert. He might know a bit, but an expert? I doubt it.
Also, most people who are experts in martial arts or self defence tactical training tend to be pretty fit. That guy has boobs bigger than a lot of girls I know, and a beer gut to match.

Krav Maga is the israeli self defense system, designed to be learned by anyone.

it's not like say Kung Fu, where you need to be able to jump 6 feet in the air and kick someone in the face, it's more about, breaking someones bones before they break yours.

i don't doubt his knowledge of Krav Maga based on his looks.

Like I said, if we're talking about an expert I think that's a little different to someone who's learnt a little bit. Regardless of who it's meant to be learnt by (and yes, I know perfectly well what it is) if you're claiming to be a proper expert, you're going to be fit.

i have met a 3rd degree TKD blackbelt carrier who weighed 300+ pounds, and i've also met a master of Jeet Kune Do(spelling?) who looked like the cookie monster.

Also, in my experience, people who actually ARE experts tend to not say so.

these were people who were conducting classes, i got to yellow belt in TKD, i found out it was stupid after i sparred with the "master" and got told not to punch so hard.

i was to young to take JKD at the time and i gave up because i preferred watching TV.

I found the survival stuff very interesting, particularly his reiteration that emergency services has stated that they mightn't be able to help New Zealanders for three days after a natural disaster occurred.

I doubt he'll accomplish his goal of a "white only" city, though.
