Well a little about myself, life's been like a book and I spent a lifetime looking in all the wrong places to find myself, and never did. I'm a big kid at heart without the big boys toys. I have 5 children and two grandsons. My second long term relationship has just ended after a lengthy dream time (aboriginie context) while trying to plan out my future. I began writing poetry in 1995 and just kept on going. It began after reading an old book by Quiller Couch on writing...my first attempt ended up in the bin...I had a second crack at it and, wallah a piece was born....From the black thunderstorms surrounding my traumatic life I began to add a silver line at the ends of my poems to see if could get in a better frame of mind. BY 1997 I was positive I could better myself so enrolled at University in a Bachelors Programme at the University of Waikato. I took a writing course and came out of University four years later a Bachelor of Science. Three years later we were in a financial struggle face to face with Bankruptcy and it's consequences...now it's nearly time to start it all over again and pick up the cotton and thread the needle of life once again.
